Design scattered with auspicious patterns passed down through generations
The design combines auspicious motifs passed down through generations, such as cranes and tortoises symbolizing longevity and health, sea bream which connects to "めでたい" (medetai, meaning auspicious), and the Seven Lucky Gods who invite various kinds of good fortune. This sashiko cloth is also suitable as a gift to convey celebratory feelings.

Recommended for dividing and making into cushion covers
The sashiko design is arranged in three tiers to make it easy to adapt. Besides cushion covers, it can be framed or used in various other ways. Its modern design matches various rooms.

The corner split chrysanthemums and fans can be made into tassels to ward off evil spirits by bundling threads.
Swaying tassels have long been believed to ward off negative energy. By adorning the celebratory sashiko pattern with tassels, the meaning of "inviting good fortune and warding off evil spirits" is added. Includes instructions on how to make them.
