When embroidering, the most important things to me are the thread and fabric themselves.
The beauty and joy of colors and forms are the essence of embroidery, but the moment when the strength and density of the threads used in the base fabric perfectly balance the mass of the colors placed on top is beautiful and precious to me.
If either is forced, it looks strained.
Another important thing to me is the communication through embroidery.
I embroider hoping that someone will see my embroidery and be delighted or enjoy it.
